For this experiment I first chose 8 pictures that were connected to my story book in some way, after using the light box I inked 3 separate pages focusing on different areas and tonal parts. Once I had finished this I scanned them in and rearranged them in the same document so they were in the same place and size. I then changed each layer into either yellow, cyan, magenta or key. By then turning every layer to darken you had a mixture of seven colours to play with. I then decided to lighten or change the hue of different layers to get a completely different mix of colours.
